I teach what I aspire to master and offer multiple learning opportunities drawing on knowledge and experience in holistic health and peacemaking with a focus on Nonviolent Communication.
Learn a Language of Compassion
How often have you felt misunderstood and unheard by even those closest to you, or frustrated after a conversation where you never found the chance to speak? I invite you to look deeper into how we have learned to communicate and respect how much it shapes our world. We are either expressing ourselves (speaking), receiving another (listening), or we are connecting within ourselves in a never-ending internal monologue.
Unfortunately, we inherited our ancestors’ methods of interaction based on judgment and competition within a paradigm of right and wrong/ black and white. Yet we live in a vibrant colorful world filled with billions of perspectives and understandings. Although we do have common denominators, we all experience emotions and we all strive for the same universal human values of life, like freedom, safety, peace, and love.
During our 2 hours, we’ll have an amusing lesson with art, alliteration, music, and games.
The Art of Communication
A 6-part series ( 2 hours each) that delves deeper into each of the major concepts in Nonviolent Communication. Ideal for a dedicated small group who wants to commit to supporting each other in acknowledging the challenges of communication, learning new approaches, and then practicing together.

Massage and More, Basics for Everyone
The nonverbal language of touch innate to all humans has sadly been repressed and underutilized. Thousands of years ago Egyptians gathered together and massaged essential oils into one another's feet creating a communal healing circle. After years of massage practice, I feel compelled to ‘teach them to fish’ and share my approach to empower others to take muscles into their own hands. It’s now my mission to encourage and reawaken our intuitive healing capabilities to use for both ourselves and to give to others. Massage has so many benefits that increase healing and relieve pain, primarily through improving circulation and re-tenderizing knotted jerky-like muscles. Most studies done to prove its effectiveness were conducted with daily massage and the only way I can see to accomplish this is to inspire daily self and/or social massage.
In this 2 hours workshop, we will cover basic techniques people can do themselves, including simple stretching and basic tools like tennis balls and rollers that lessen personal effort. We will also go over the basics of essential oils and energy work, elements that I used in my practice, and how they can be incorporated into massage. My intention is to create a safe space for people to explore the possibilities and quality-of-life-increasing benefits of self-care and how it can also be enjoyed socially.
Social “Ssage Parties
Want to experience my workshops in a fun social environment? Consider hosting a Social ‘Ssage party and enjoy getting relaxed and enlightened with friends!
We are all stressed and sore and I suggest we feel better by enjoying massage together! Imagine a party where everyone is blissed out after being rubbed down. Sounds amazing, right? These parties can be purely social and just include chair massages, or you can also offer your guests instruction on giving massages themselves with my class, ‘Massage and More, Basics for Everyone.’ Everyone can then walk away relaxed and with tools they can use daily to maintain their relief.
Additionally, you can add my other class, ‘Learn a Language of Compassion,’ and experience even more healing social connections.
